Leader of The PDK, Kadri Wessel, has said today on the Memorial Day for the Victims of Violence, based on Religion or Faith, that religious faith plays an important role in society, especially in the education of moral and anti-corruption citizens.
August “22 is marked by the UN as the Day to Remember the Victims of Violence Based on Religion or Faith. Freedom of religion or faith is a universal right of every human being, and the ongoing acts of intolerance and religion - based violence or faith must end anywhere in the world.
I highly appreciate the role that religious faith plays in society, especially in educating morally and anti-corruption citizens. Therefore, our country must guarantee the maximum respect and care for religious clergymen, symbols of various religions, objects of cult and property of different religious communities.
Coexistence among different religious groups in Kosovo is our greatest pride, and I will commit to cultivating it and strengthening it even more in the future”, Veselin wrote.
