Abelard Tahiri, a member of the PDK leadership, has expressed optimism in winning this party in the extraordinary elections expected to be held in late September or early October.
Tahiri in an interview at the Info Magazine of Kosovo said the PDK would win, and that without entering a coalition with any major opposition party.
We will not make a pre-election coalition with the major parties, eventually with the smaller parties. With large parties under no circumstances will we have a coalition. The moment we win the elections, we will determine who might be in a coalition government”.
Tahiri has here cited PDK's continued co-operation with the Justice Party and the Movement for the Union, as parties with which they would potentially coalition.
The outgoing minister was also declared for other parties and possible coalitions that could create.
“All parties have violated the red lines, which they placed at”.
These parliamentary parties are in a panic and are in constant consultation and are begging for a math to unite to challenge PDK. They're not looking for a win unless they get together”
Abelard Tahiri also stressed that the candidate for prime minister from this party will be Kadri Veseli, while stressing that the PDK's list will be the only “list from political parties that will not have people who have the indictment”.
“People who have problems with the law will not be part of the” election list.
