Health Minister Uran Ismaili has reacted to the Vetevendosje Movement, which earlier through a press conference criticised reforms that have occurred in health in the past two years.

The Vetevendosje movement criticised one of the biggest successes in post-war Kosovo health, which is the removal of the KKUK polling list.

This accomplished in addition to saving thousands of lives, it has saved 12 million euros from citizens during 2018.

According to Minister Ismaili, Vetevendosje, wanting to sow unbased allegations on one of the biggest successes in Kosovo health, is intended to favour private businesses that defraud patients.

Read Minister Ismaili's full reaction:
Shortly before, Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti in his office presented the presentation of the cardiologist charged in the criminal case “Stanta” Moreover, Albin Kurti promoted it as a quality course and as an example of professional and political cleanness. Now we're realizing that the ratio between them more than political co-operation is a business partnership, and today's conference is a manifestation of these interests. Today's attacks against the removal of the waiting list for the flight that has saved thousands of lives and 12m euros of citizens are the best evidence that the Vetevendosje Movement always ranks on the opposite side of reforms. The removal of the waiting list for the poll has been welcomed by Kosovo families and has been bad news for student businessmen. Our achievement hinders the Vetevendosje Movement because we have malfunctioned the crime industry that has economically terrorised citizens. The Vetevendosje movement, through doctors who have organised tight party strikes and have left our children without services at QKUK, tried to moralise us for health reforms. Wanting to sow groundless doubts about one of the biggest successes in Kosovo health, the Vetevendosje Movement is aiming to favour private businesses that defraud patients. It is a pity and irony that as a political party speaking all the time for public good and free health services today is listed along with the financial interests of extortioners and against citizens. Citizens have seen the PDK's work in health in these two years and are their assessments that we will not take into account the Vetevendosje conferences sponsored by interest groups.
