Hoti: With Vetevendosje we do not discuss prime minister's issue

Avdullah Hoti, from the LDK ranks, in interactive KTV, has said the prime minister's post belongs to the largest party in the country and will not discuss it with Vetevendosje. He said there was a meeting of Mustafa with Kurt, which was public, and he says they have [...]
He said there was a meeting of Mustafa with Kurti, which was public, and says they held another working meeting.
Hoti says once the LDK has to decide its nominated for prime minister.
We must first decide our nominated for prime minister and we should see the mood to enter coalitions. Basically, you'd only like to go to the elections. We'll see how it'll be decided in the coming days”, Hoti said.
He has added that there is a will to co-operate with Vetevendosje.
We have been coordinating the opposition in these two years and with Vetevendosje we have had satisfactory co-operation and I believe we can find common ground despite having certain differences. But what I appreciate is that the will to co-operate is two-partial to see how we concreteize this”, says Hoti.
According to Hoti, no one can establish an ultimatum of the LDK, but neither does his party sʹe do that, and a co-operation agreement should flow normally.
Hoti insists the prime ministerial post will not be discussed.
I don't know if you insist on Vetevendosje for the prime minister. I believe it is natural for the government to be led by the largest party, so unless there is a certain legitimacy it can be led. The prime minister so far comes from the fifth party, and we can take an example of when you don't have a parliamentary majority you can't move ahead of the governing programme. I don't think the prime minister's issue should be a problem, and this should not be put into question at all and I think there should be a certain rule”, says Hoti.
He adds that the largest party is the LDK.
“As the largest party in the country and according to the number of deputies and polls made by the LDK is the largest and is on the rise. We're getting ready to take responsibility for leading the country. We don't compromise on this issue, and I don't know if we're going to enter a pre-election coalition with Vetevendosje, but we prefer to go to these elections only because we are the favourite to win them”, Hoti has declared.
He has also criticised current governance.
“In these two years Kosovo has failed completely by not joining Interpol, not liberalisation and other scandals. Maybe it'll take a year to get things in line. But the number one problem is unemployment, the second is corruption and we have to make sure that no one who has an indictment can have a political post”, Hoti said.
