Early parliamentary elections in the country will be held on 6 October.
The country's president, Hashim Thaci, 6 October, has announced days for holding early elections in Kosovo.
Immediately after President Thaci's decision, the Central Election Commission (KQZ) has begun preparations for the election process, the news says.net.
In addition to preparations, at the meeting yesterday held by the CEC, it has been found that the budget planned for this election is in the amount of 5m and 698 thousand and 486 euros.
In these elections as well as in the past, besides local monitors, international observers have been present.
Regarding the latter, news.net has sent questions to the Office of the European Union of Kosovo, where he is interested in the number of EU monitors who will be in this election.
Through a written response from this office, they have indicated that the EU is willing to offer support to Kosovo in this democratic process.
However, the EU Office in Pristina has indicated that this can be done only if the country's president or Kosovo authorities make such a request.
The European Union has offered its regular support to Kosovo's democratic process, including the electoral monitoring mission, as well as is willing to do so in the future, is understood if such a request is submitted by Kosovo President or authorities”, the EU Office's response to the news.net says.
On the other hand, during yesterday's meeting, which the Central Election Commission has held, has also decided on the appointment of international and local observers.
Under this decision, handing over the request for accrediting observers of political subjects and local election monitoring organisations and observers begins on 27 August and ends 27 September.
Meanwhile, handing over the request for accreditment of international observers and media for election monitoring begins on August 27th and ends on October 1st.
