On August 14th 2019, around 23:44, Kosovo Police in Kamenica, through operational routes has reportedly a dead cow is being transported to a red truck with local signs.
It was heading towards the village of Novosel, Kamenica municipality.
The police patrol has managed to locate the location and has met suspect S. J. Albanian Kosovo citizen (1979), who allegedly sent the dead animal (Lap) to person F. B. Which slaughtered animals”, says the announcement.
At the scene, the veterinarian inspector has emerged that this animal's meat is not to be used for consumption, and the animal must be buried.
On August 15th, 2019, following additional police action in connection with the investigation unit from the Kamenica Police Station in co-operation to AVUK inspectors and state prosecutor from the case's findings and additional actions re-qualified, from “The cause of total risk” in criminal work such as “Production and the circulation of harmful food items according to KPRK Article 261”. The case is being investigated”, the KP report says.
