The contribution is completely linked to the export dynamics of services, which expanded by 8.5%, compared to a year ago. In this case, the effects relate to the “physical input processing category” and “other services”.
According to the BSH, positive impacts have also come from the export of “travel services”, which increased by 5.1% compared to a year ago. On the other hand, the export of goods decreased by 4.0% in annual terms, largely influenced by the significant reduction of electricity exports.
As for importing goods and services, they expanded by 7.4% in annual terms. The trade deficit in goods gave the main impact, expanding by 13.0%, while the utility's success affected in the opposite direction, as it expanded by about 13.5% compared to a year ago, the BSH revealed.
