At the opening of this forum, attended by parliamentary leaders of many countries, but even by those not yet recognised Kosovo's independence, Wessel has conveyed a message through which he has asked them to recognise Kosovo's independent and sovereign state.
Kosovo is a new state and is moving forward. I ask you to recognise the independent and sovereign state of Kosovo. This serves peace and stability in Southeast Europe. It also serves the friendship and development of our ties in all possible fields of co-operation”, Wessel said at the opening of his speech at the American Congress.
This forum, organised by the American Congress, is attended by MPs, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, and Avdullah Hoti.
