Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has invited Turkish investors to invest in Kosovo, telling them they are important partners.
Shala has hosted the Turkish World Business Council at the Board of Foreign Economic Relations (DEIK), with which she talked about trade between the two states.
Minister Shala said Kosovo has facilitated investment processes.
“Reporting with investors from Turkey, Kosovo has further facilitated their investment process by signing cruise agreements, which will serve primarily to investors from Turkey. Today I want to mention here before you that Kosovo and Turkey have already ratified the Free Trade Agreement, which will come into force by September 1st, which will greatly facilitate bilateral investments and the promotion of trade between our two countries”, Shala said.
The minister said Turkish investors intend to invest in the Republic of Kosovo, will help the country and reports between the two countries.
He said Kosovo is ready for their investments already invites them to invest, telling them it accounts for important partners.
And Neil Olpak, chairman of DEIC- DTIK, the economic organisation, said the free trade agreement is very important.
