Haradinaj, upon receiving the invitation from the Special, resigned from the post of first Kosovo Government.
The day he resigned irrevocable, Haradinaj said he could not go interviewing before the Specialised Chambers, but he in a letter delivered to institutional leaders has confirmed that he will continue to exercise office until the election of the new government.
“You invite that, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and applicable laws, general elections and the right to choose to return to sovereign”, Haradinaj wrote in the letter delivered to the president of Kosovo.
Meanwhile, he continues to be the head of the AAK.
