Pristina, July 03rd, 2019, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Dijana Zivic, accompanied by Kosovo Forest Agency Chief Chairman Ahmet Zejnullahu, have visited the Kosovo Forestry Institute in Pec.
In this case, they have visited the spaces of the institute, looking closely at the work done there.
“The Forest Institute has great importance and is a real example of good co-operation between the business sector, science and the economy, which in the best way combines production, science, technology and services for the development of agriculture and forestry in Kosovo”, said Minister Zivic.
Under this institute, the design and research sector functions, as well as the foresting and farm production sector.
The minister of the institute's close management has also visited the laboratory of this institute, which deals with the protection of forests from pests and insects and the orchard of the institute, which owns more than 10 hectares and 1,40,000 seedlings.
