Kosovo has lost a donation worth 12m euros from the European Union aimed at building a depot where all dangerous waste would be preserved.
Dangerous materials exist in most of Kosovo's cities and are mainly solid or liquid waste, reports the rel.
They have remained in various factories or companies since the 1990s.
To solve the problem of these wastes, Kosovo institutions planned to build an object in the village of Harilac of Fushe Kosovo. The project was scheduled to be funded by the EU and totaled 12m euros, but implementation failed because the municipality of Fushe Kosovo refused construction on its territory.
