Foundation Court confirms that cell suspects with driver's license are pronounced house arrest measures

Suspects with driver's license have been released from court.

All suspects in Pristina have been assigned home arrest measures.

The Constitutional Court has confirmed Periscope that 23 persons arrested during the past week were pronounced only house arrest measures.

All have misused their official position by accepting bribes and giving drivers license to people who were unwilling to pass the necessary paperwork tests, reports Periscope.

Security measures against Pristina's twenty-three defendants have been set up, July 09th, 2019, Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Randa Crime Department has ruled in terms of Pristina's Constitutional Prosecutor's request for the appointment of the detention measure against defendants F. K, N. L, F.A., F.E., F.F., A.B., L. S, A.R., F. L, S.Z., E.B., D. ZH, N. B, A. M, L.A. and M.M. have consistently and in co-ordination carried out criminal work Misuse of official position or authority by Article 414 paragraph 2 concerning Article 31 and 77 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, while defendants A. T, P.T, S.S., H. J, L.B., A.K. and B.J have carried out criminal work in co-ordination and ongoing acceptance of bribes in the private sector by Article 309 paragraph 1 related to Article 31 and 77 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code. The court has taken office and has rejected the Constitutional Prosecutor's request in Pristina, the Randa Crime Department and against defendants F. K, N. L, F.A., F.E., F.F., A. B, L. S, A.R., F. L, S.Z., E.B., D. ZH, N.B., A.M., L.A., M.M., A.T., P.T, S., H. J, L.B., A.K. and B.J. has scheduled the house arrest measure for one month apart. There is a doubt that defendants from date not defined until dt. 05.07.2019, under a preliminary and ongoing agreement aimed at benefiting property illegally, have misused the official position, as officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure Sector for Drivers. Against this ruling the side is eligible for complaint at the Kosovo Court of Appeals, the tribunal reportedly answers. /Periscopi/
