Maxhun was dismissed today by Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
“Today I have released Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Shukri Maxhuni”, wrote Prime Minister Haradinaj today.
On Tuesday, Shukri Maxhun was photographed while putting his feet on the front of the official car, specifically at the car window. Days ago, Maxhun's party chief, Behgjet Pacolli, reacted to the move.
And, in a proposal for the newspaper inFokus, Shukri Maxhuni said today he respects the prime minister's decision to sack him. He said he had health problems and that's why he put his feet in the glass.
It's his decision, I made a mistake, I didn't make a big deal of it, I have health problems, I've been through pain, I've stretched my leg, I've done it for my pain”, Maxhuy told the newspaper in Fokus.
On the other hand, Maximi added that during his time in office, he tried to do the best possible job and that he admitted that his gesture was not decent, but it was all just for health reasons.
“E have seen fit as well, I stand back, I've tried to make my contribution professionally, and now they're even waiting for some big agriculture projects I've worked on, but that's what it is. I agree, it's a political decision, that I've done by misuse, within official hours I've been on the highway, not in the city, because I'm in pain. My diagnosis wants my leg laid down, someone shot me, it wasn't a good gesture, I did it for pain, but, obviously, they didn't care. However, I welcome and welcome the decision, life and work continue to”, Shukri Maxhun added.
