Avdullah Hoti speaks as LDK candidate for prime minister: Show new government priorities

Although elections within the LDK are expected to be held on August 3rd, it becomes known that this party is to avoid divisions and incidents has decided to make agreements among senior party officials.

And as the most controversial candidate for prime minister is the very Avdullah Hoti, who had been in the same role in past elections, writes Periscope.

On his Facebook status, Mr. Hoti, following his criticism of Haradinaj's government, told of the priorities the new government will hold. He says the new government will be a normal government, with competent people and homelands, respecting the law, maintaining friendships.

Kosovo soon becomes a new government, which will, above all, be a normal, pro-European government, strengthening friendship with the US, showing political maturity, respecting the constitutional order of Kosovo and the principle of division of powers responsible for the Parliament that has chosen it.

Initially, the damages I am leaving behind the PAN government, a government of chaos, the extortion of the budget, the isolation of the Kosovo leadership, the failure of diplomacy and expectations for the state of Kosovo, of ministers with the indictment, of meeting with people of crime, who order and threaten prosecutors, who refuse visas from the most friendly country of Kosovo, which divides the budget for French and roles, abuses the budget at the anniversary of independence and various projects, who gets only decisions for economic interests of their own advisers, which doubles to themselves, the national property against private property, the government with 50-strong ministers, 80 deputy ministers, national co-ordinators. If there were even a few more lives, it would also name sub-coordinators and assistants of sub-coordinators. Of course, there are also achievements, but all these scandals and damage done to the country leave any accomplishment in the background.

After undermining damages, the four-year plan will include radical reforms in the economy, education, health, rule of law, national security, regional and Euro-Atlantic integration and other areas.

(i) In the field of economy, businesses will once again breathe freely, without being harassed by anyone, including the elimination of all harmful contracts and illegal monopolies. The leftover Fiscal 2 package will be fully implemented, and the 3 Fiscal Pack will be prepared with businesses. The budget will immediately reach 3 billion, because there will be no” flow” of the revenues. The ATK union with Customs, which has been forgotten, and on-line fiscalisation of businesses, will be finalised. Farmers will be supported more, but based on the amount of production. Bees and rivers will be preserved, reviewing licenses given without meeting environmental conditions.

(i) Education will be set free from the dictates of the prime minister and minister of education. Education policies will be prepared and implemented by the best professionals, with the focus on quality in education at all levels and all involvement in pre-university education. Students ' books will not be written by people who do not understand where they have reached standards in the 20th century.

(ii) In health, emergency health insurance will be functional, which is exhausted. Public investments will go towards modernising health services.

(iv) In the field of order and law, we need property and reforms that provide efficient systems, where the burden of evidence passes to the side. Our police will be efficient on all four sides of Kosovo, providing permanent protection for citizens, not just through single-time police shares. Judges and prosecutors won't dare order and threaten anyone. The justice minister will stay away from the Judiciary Council and the Prosecutorial Council, which is independent of the Government.

(v) Diplomacy will be effective and professional, initially eliminating nepotism and politicisation. It should be launched with a functional review of the diplomacy network, as embassies are filled with militants and non-competitive people, who are costing us millions of euros, without any benefit for the state of Kosovo. The embassies will be supported by economic, military, police, cultural and educational attachés, to strengthen co-operation with welcoming states, to support our citizens living in those countries and to promote investment opportunities in Kosovo.

(vi) Kosovo will be a factor of peace and stability in the region. The KSF, with double the budget, will be prepared to advance towards the military, in partnership with NATO and friendly countries. Military service will be binding, in line with the standards of NATO member states.

(vii) For the future government, regional integrations will deepen along with European integration. Special agreements will be reached with Albania and Macedonia concerning economic co-operation, unified customs points, energy market unification with Albania, integrated higher education, a joint cultural calendar, and so on. The Schengen port will be functional with agreements on exterritority and other areas of regional co-operation.

These are some of the points of the governing programme, which is finalised by the LDK Council of Experts. This governing programme will be discussed with businesses, with youth, with farmers, with health and education experts, with doctors and educators, with the cultural community, with civil society, with unions, with economic odas, with professionals in different fields, and citizens on all sides of Kosovo.

This Government Programme, along with a team of competent and native people, clean-handed people who are dedicated to the Republic of Kosovo as sovereign, democratic, promotes good neighbourly relations, integrated into the EU and NATO, and in permanent friendship with the United States, who respect the laws and Constitutions of Kosovo, will be introduced to Kosovo citizens to seek their greatest confidence.
