Algerian Feuzi Zabaat managed to catch the baby that fell from the second floor of the apartment.
Little Dohamah fell from an apartment in one of Istanbul's areas on Wednesday.
After the heroic act, 17-year-old told Turkish media: “I did what was needed for Allah's love”.
The young girl, originally from Syria, survived with no injuries.
The dramatic scene was picked up by security cameras.
As thanks, Doha's family gave their daughter's savior a gift of 200 Turkish lyres (27,21 ) to Turkey.
