It seems that Albania's fate has already been determined, as one of the EU countries like the Netherlands has voted in its Parliament against opening negotiations.
On the other hand, there is a green light for northern Macedonia, which can be shared by Albania in the process.
Albanian Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj expects a positive response for both countries.
It sharply excludes the possibility of dividing northern Macedonia from Albania, stressing that the latter has met all conditions.
The decision will be made during the summit, to be held today in Luxembourg.
Before leaving towards Luxembourg, European diplomacy chief Federica Moghrini called for a positive decision on the two countries, as a assessment of the reforms undertaken. /ora/
