Innovation Minister Besim Beqaj has employed at his ministry a director who is convicted of corruption.

The U.S. ambassador to Pristina Philip Costet, who says such a decision by Minister Beqaj is insulting to citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

“In the category of unqualified appointments, the Ministry of Innovation has appointed for legal director a person convicted of corruption, a decision that Apel has supported. An insult to Kosovo citizens” has written Costnet in a response to his official profile in Titter.
