Student organisations from the University of Pristina, the University of Prizren, the University of Gjilan, the University of Pec, the University of Mitrovica and the University of Gjilan have come out with public communiqué, calling on Chief Parliamentary Kadri Veselin and the Kosovo Parliament and justice bodies not to stop the initiative to establish the Tribunal for Serbian genocide and fight crime and corruption in Kosovo.

“On behalf of the University of Pristina student Parliament éHasan Pristina, we encourage justice institutions, the Kosovo Parliament and other relevant bodies not to stop fighting Serbian genocide and fighting corruption in Kosovo. We ask that as a student Parliament, the Tribunal is established, seeing that many of our colleagues have lost their best loved ones in the war, we have many colleagues and colleagues who are from families derived from the war”, says the Student Parliament's Facebook page “hasan Pristina”.

While, the Student Parliament of the University “Uktin Hoti” in Prizren has called on MPs from all political parties to put aside denigration campaigns against each other and push the decisions forward in the interest of citizens.

The latest <x0D) have witnessed many disturbing developments in our country, which, in particular, have had damage to Kosovo's image and in particular, the values of war. We as students will support the initiatives of anyone aimed at dawning the truth of the recent war in Kosovo, and will help with whatever activity this truth should once and for all, said the Prizren Student Parliament's response.

On Thursday, in support of the initiative to form Tribunal, the Student Parliament has also emerged from the University”Hagi Zeka” in Pec.

We encourage the deputies of the Republic of Kosovo to support this initiative unanimously and without any distinction. We also invite Kosovo's justice bodies to fight against corruption and organised crime, and we also offer our unreserved support over both of these current issues in Kosovo”, said the Peja Student Parliament's page.

Mitrovica University Students' Parliament “Isa Boletini” has emerged on Thursday in support of the Tribunal initiative for Serbian genocide.

“Tutje, we consider that the wicked labels and conspiracies made in recent days against the founders of the KLA, who are at the same time ideal for establishing the upper Tribunal, do not serve Kosovo's political scene and membership in European and international mechanisms. Therefore, we seek urgent and objective legal intervention by law enforcement bodies to stop any blackmail and breach of Kosovo's image and carriers of Kosovo institutions. The Student Parliament is in co-ordination with the student organisation of senior education carriers in Kosovo in order to organise a peaceful march aimed at supporting the Kosovo Assembly for the establishment of Tribunal, which will judge Serbian genocide in Kosovo”, the Mitrovica Student Parliament's response to its Facebook page said.

While, the Student Parliament of the University of Gjakova has called for the Tribunal for the Serbian genocide to be approved urgently, to provide appropriate answers to Serbian war crimes criminals.

The “Students of the University of Gjakova recommend MPs from the Republic of Kosovo to support such an initiative. Also expressing deep concern, we invite and encourage the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to take concrete steps in fighting corruption and organised crime. At the same time, students at the University of Gjakova will be willing to take over the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in any form and circumstances related to issues raised high”, the University of Gjakova Student Parliament official said.
