For the quality of the highway, a former worker has raised questions. That highway is considered good only in sight and dangerous to circulate, because as “is of poor quality”.
For these statements that former Bechtel Enka employee Predition Sadiku gave yesterday at T7, the spokeswoman for this company, Ela Ruci, has been requested.
She has ignored the former employee's claims, until she's happily expressed from her work on that highway.
“I am very happy that we successfully completed a highway of international parameters”, she said.
However, former employee Sadiku has said he has no courage to travel the new highway because of poor quality.
I don't trust to cross the bridge. I'm never going to visit the highway across the Equipment Field. Because I suffered injury by building it and poor quality. I am convinced that 30% of the workers have no heart to get to that highway because of the poor construction”, Sadiku said.
He has declared that he is willing to offer this information to the State Prosecutor if he is contacted.
The work of this highway was launched in 2014, costing Kosovo's budget more than 700m euros.
There have also been disasters in its construction as dead and injured workers.
