About 600,000 voters will vote in four northern municipalities

The CEC has announced it will hold five media conferences during tomorrow to provide details about the election process.
On schedule followed by the CEC, the first conference will be held at 8: 00 a.m. to announce the opening of polling stations. At 11:30, the CEC will announce the number of voters by this time. Even at 3:30 media conferences aim to announce the number of voters and other developments. And at 7:30, The CEC will announce voter turnout until the polls are closed. For the fifth conference, when preliminary results will be made public, media reportedly will be announced over time.
Three candidates for mayors -- two from Albanian parties and one from a Serb party -- compete in the Leposaviqi municipality, as well as in Zubin Potok, Zvecan and North Mitrovica.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, on April 8th, had announced the date of extraordinary elections for May 19th in the four northern municipalities of Kosovo following his resignations (November 27th, 2018) from the four then mayors of these municipalities as a controversial move against the Kosovo Government's tax on Serbian goods.
