On the 20th anniversary of the Lubizhda massacre, where 14 martyrs and 40 martyrs of this village fell, the highest heads of state and many citizens had come to honour the fallen, where the turquoise of the museum tower “Tower of the Center” was placed.
Kosovo Assembly Chairman Kadri Wessel at this memorial gathering talking about the Serb side's denials of massacres committed in Kosovo said the international community is in that direction.
He said the state of Kosovo will not be avenged, but according to him, the international community should be sought by the Special Court to condemn the Serbian Army for crimes committed in Kosovo during 1998-99.
Wessel, while showing his experiences during the war with his Hashan fellow fighters, said Lubizhda is the door of freedom that he gave to Kosovo during the wartime trust, bread and rifle.
“We have reactions from the Serbian state denying the Serb massacres as long as we have reaction from us and the international community for their being, but one is clear that this is also a message to the international community and the European Union, since people will not be punished for crimes at Meja in Obrek, Kosovo's root of hundreds of massacres of Serbian powers will always deny Serb crimes that is the mistake of the international community that is the responsibility of our institutions.... I expect support for the international community to understand the voice of reason to initiate and have the Special Court for Crimes for Serb Massacres” respectively, Veselin said.
