A few hours before the deadline was closed, on April 18, 2019, the Serbian List applied to be certified to participate in the extraordinary elections in the four northern municipalities, which are expected to be held on May 19th of this year.
But there is a danger that this political subject will not be certified at all by the Central Election Commission (KQZ) at the meeting, which is expected to be held this beginnings. This is because the two members of the Central Election Commission (KQZ) from the Vetevendosje Movement, Adnan Rrustem and Nazlie Bala, can vote against LL Certificate if some required provisions are not met in advance, Zeri writes.
Meanwhile, to happen the certificate, 2/3 of the votes of CEC members are needed, eight votes, respectively. Since President Hashim Thaci has not yet appointed all members to this institution, the CEC is currently operating with 9, what the LS certificate makes it impossible to fail to contribute to LV members.
