Selimi has said that those fleeing poverty hope they will ever return to Kosovo to fight poverty.
Many more have fled Kosovo from poverty than from Serbia. Then in the war they turned to war against Serbia, so I hope they will once return to combat poverty. We're in that situation when less than a decade of young people are looking for jobs in construction companies and others, and now companies are finding workers. This damages Kosovo's economy severely. Kosovo has a budget to sustain 2 million citizens, but this budget is being misused”, Selimi has said.
According to him, it is not logical that the entire budget is invested in asphalt that people are not leaving because they have no asphalt, but why they have jobs.
People are running away because they don't have asphalt, but they don't have to. So the budget had to be used to create new jobs. We are in dire straits. We are remaining without people in Kosovo, even without the view of the West”, Selimi has said further to T7./ P ERISCOPIA
