Minister Zivic willing to continue agricultural co-operation with USAID

Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Dijana Zivic has hosted a meeting of U project representatives today. AID for agriculture “AGRO”, who has talked about continuing co-operation in the agriculture sector under this project.

Minister Zivic has also announced them with the ministry's agriculture development programmes, as well as for priorities for this year, where she has reaffirmed that it will give a top priority in implementing support programmes for farmers and agribusinesses.

It has praised the trust agreement for supporting the country's agriculture sector, which was signed last year between the MBPZHR and the USAID Mission, where a special programme for supporting the chain of valuables and herbs and spices in Kosovo has been created through this agreement.

During this meeting, she has indicated her willingness to continue co-operating with the USIAD on implementation of joint projects within the agriculture sector.

On the other hand, Besa Ilazi, responsible for USAID's “Agro” programme, has announced the minister most widely on the performance of joint projects, as well as the results achieved by implementation of agricultural projects.
