Zuzana Caputova has won 40.5 per cent of the votes in Slovakia, leaving Maros Shefcherovic down second.
She had campaigned hard against corruption but had never had any official duties, and the result is fantastic that it can change the fate of the hostile country with Kosovo, Periscopi translates.
These two candidates will face a run-off on March 30th, likely to win Caputova.
The 45-year-old is pro-European liberal, belonging to the small progressive Slovak nonparliamentary party.
All this policy change has occurred after an investigative journalist was killed. /Periscopi
