Montenegrin Foreign Minister Srdjan Darnovolic said in parliament that MPs made a historic decision after Montenegro for the first time approves the accession of another country to NATO. He also stated that North Macedonia's accession to NATO is good news for the entire region and the only way to achieve progress in the Western Balkans.
Support for Macedonia is high on Montenegro's agenda. As a NATO member, Montenegro is an active driver of NATO's further enlargement”, Darnovolic said, VOA reports.
