Trade Minister in Serbia Rasim Lajic has said that Kosovo has questioned the CEFTA Agreement by setting a 100 per cent fee on Serbian goods, writes N1, Periscope broadcast.
“If CEFTA doesn't prevent this, the existence of this agreement” will be questioned, he said.
According to Lajiq, Serbia is losing millions of euros on a daily basis as a result of Kosovo's imposed tax.
He has warned a CEFTA Plus if such a blockade continues from Kosovo.
We need the European Union's most serious evolution at this stage. We need to put all options on the table in order to remove the barriers and liberalise the” market, he said.
The Serbian Trade Total under CEFTA's agreement in the countries of the region (side with Kosovo), including Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Albania, has been 4.2 billion euros last year alone. /Periscope.
