Pekani lies in the northern part of Suhareka, and residents mainly deal with agriculture and construction. With this KED investment, they will have a better life.
For Faik Fadain, owner of a minimarket, it's all right now.
It better be. They've got a lock on them. We no longer have the risk of high blood pressure, and life in the village will now be better. The workers have done their jobs very well and clean”, Faja said.
For implementation of this project KED has established two trafostations. One with power of 250 kVA and another with 160 kVA capacity. All the pillars placed are concrete and have been extended underground and air grids of medium and low tension and over 4,000m cables for home locks.
There are over 400 families who benefit from this project.
On the other side of the village, resident Reshat Grulaj, is deeply satisfied with the work and rapid service of KED workers.
” We've had problems. A pillar was once fallen from bad weather. Now with the work they did, there was no more danger, and it became very good”.
Grulaj also praises ECDS workers for their readiness and quick service.
How many times we've had electricity problems we've called the KED workers to fix it, they've always come in time, and I thank them so much”, Grulaj has declared.
KEDS will continue to extend investments across the country, giving priority to settlements that have the oldest electricity network and according to the Energy Distribution Development Plan, it is estimated that Kosovo by 2025 will become modern energy grids.
