People's Party Chairman (NS) and one of the League leaders for Serbia (SZS) Vuk Jeremic, has said that power in Serbia is only one step away from signing the agreement with Kosovo.
The “Agreement with Kosovo will result in Kosovo's permanent alienation from Serbia and the formal legal one, with our signature”, Jeremic has said.
As the Serbian agency “Beta” reports, Jeremic has named the Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic's statement, which has said Serbia's official policy wants demarcation with Kosovo.
Former Serbian diplomacy chief Jeremic has added that for months he has warned that secret talks are under way between the presidents of Serbia and Kosovo, Aleksandar Vuciq and Hashim Thaci, Telegrafi conveys.
Every time secret talks happened, when Vuciq and Thaci were found in Paris, when they were secretly staying in New York, when they were in Rome, I've always got information about those meetings. I've got information about what they've been talking about and I've informed the public about it, and this (Serbia's president Aleksandar Vuciq) has never exposed”, Jeremic said.
He added that during the past month President Vuciq has received two letters from American President Donald Trump.
In the first letter, Trump tells Vuchiqi: Mr. President, now that you are close to a historic agreement and settlement for Kosovo”. What historic solution? How can you be on the verge of signing, and of course you are, because the American president is not crazy to write that you are on the verge of signing the agreement. Pre, we are on the verge of agreement”, Jeremic said.
He added that the next letter Trump states that this agreement should mean mutual recognition of Serbia and Kosovo as independent states.
“Today Ivica Dacic says Serbia's official policy is demarcation. What demarcation? Demarkation from who? How can demarcation be made with a part of the territory which legally and constitutionally is part of Serbia? The constitution says Kosovo is part of Serbia, while the foreign minister says official policy is for demarcation. There is no such thing in bananas”, Jeremic said.
He reiterated that he disagrees with the view that Serbia has always lost Kosovo. /Telegraphy/
