At this meeting, there was only one issue of the agenda - it was the footnote of independence.
Prime Minister Haradinaj gave a short speech, hinting that on the road to independence we have faced challenges and that we will be challenged in the future. On the other hand, he added that Kosovo should take only steps ahead.
The independence lives on us. Every single one of us has traveled these 11 years of Independence, every citizen, every one of us has their own confession of 11 years' journey.
And the country's government has its confession. Even this Government has now confessed itself since we took on responsibilities”.
What I think is important to confirm to the citizens of the country that with greater care we have faced all the topics that happened before Kosovo and the Government and at the same time with the highest respect for the country's citizens' interest”.
There are many decisions, laws, legal packages, reform. There are also major decisions, such as the Army, decisions related to Trepca and other economic resources, “.
Haradinaj has said that 2019 will be the year when Kosovo wraps up all open issues, citing the final agreement with Serbia.
In the second 10 years that we've entered, I believe it's a year of our consolidation as a state and the conclusion of all remaining open topics in the regional and international plan that also means agreement for binding legal recognition with Serbia on existing borders, as well as membership in ATO”.
The prime minister's speech concluded the solemn meeting.
