Trump: The Hormuz Strait “is partially opened” and will be fully opened Friday

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that Hormuz Strait is a partially opened “and that it will open fully Friday, when the US and Iran will officially sign a memorandum of understanding.
“They are doing a slight search for several mines that have already been found, but... ships are now starting to emerge”, Trump said during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the G7 summit.
On Friday, it will be fully open”, he said, writes CNN, Periscope broadcast.
Although the US president publicly complained about the unwillingness of European leaders to join the US-Israel War against Iran, he suggested the strait would be reopened without the need for much help from France.
I don't think we're gonna need much help, because we have an agreement where it's gonna be open and free. We had a little debate on this; it's free of charge”, he said, adding, “I don't think it's a bad idea to have one or two ships here from some places from”.
