As INA learns, his candidacy has come after two meetings that have held with Alliance for Albanians and Movement B leaders ESA, where it agreed to be the candidate for president.
Of the two opposition parties, however, they have not officially revealed names. The Albanian opposition aims to win votes by counting the results of the recent local elections, where the ASH won about 600,000 votes, while the EUSA Movement over 50,000, but which has since faced division.
Professor Reka is a longtime professor at the University of Southeast Europe and at Pristina University. He was also North Macedonia's ambassador to the EU.
