The bitter weather of heavy rainfall has gripd Italy over the past few hours.
280 people have been evacuated and 6 law enforcement officers have been injured in the province of Bologna from the Reno River bed while coming to the aid of residents in water-torn homes.
They were rescued thanks to the intervention of a fire department helicopter and are receiving treatment at the local hospital.
