Albania's Parliament ratified protocol for Macedonia's NATO accession

Albania's Assembly has ratified the protocol for North Macedonia's NATO accession by 130 votes.

The “bill for ratification of the North Atlantic Treaty Protocol for the adoption of the Republic of Northern Macedonia” was approved by Albania's Assembly by 130 votes, none against and no abstention.

During the session for ratification of the protocol present was North Macedonia's Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi.

I want to assure you that these situations are not the first. They've been through all the challenges. The point is what happened in advance. I address you in my name and the deputies in northern Macedonia to express the gratitude you trusted and supported us. I'm a witness to true friendship. Relations between the two states are linked to strong lines of friendship, but also in the area of cultural political co-operation.
