The journalist lost his job after asking the Russian president, but there was another moment when she “nervozoi” Putin

Alice Yarovskaya is currently not part of state television channel Yamal-Rajon's team. And this happened a few days after he asked President Vladimir Putin a question during the annual press conference. The first doubts, always according to some reports, occurred because the bosses were not satisfied with her question, they write the world media, they follow thegraphy.

What did the journalist ask?

Almost three hours at Russian President Vladimir Putin's press conference on December 19th, the microphone passed to reporters from the Yamal region.

Alisa Yarovskaya took over the microphone, although it was apparently thought of another Yamal-Rajon television journalist selected by Mr. Putin, Dmitry Peskov.

She began underlining the advantages of global warming for her region, as this meant that the Arctic Sea route was melting. Local infrastructure, including railways, was being built, however, building a bridge over the Ob River was stalled, she said. The bridge aims to connect two local towns -- Salekhard and Labytnangi.

Why did she lose her job?

According to a report by the Ura.ru website, senior officials in the Yamam-Nenets district were not impressed by journalist's interference, and the television channel was disappointed that she had received the microphone from a colleague.

Stressing that the local authority owned the television channel for which it worked, Ura.ru quoted a government source as saying that the governor did not appreciate such an act and that it had been agreed in advance that instead a particular question about railway ties was posed.

Meanwhile, Yarovskaya has told some Russian media she submitted her resignation before being fired, but would not say whether she was related to her question.

Another report has suggested that the incident could have been linked to a Facebook post in which she allegedly speculated under a photo carried out during the press conference on Mr. Putin.

“I cannot see botoks or fillers. He looks his age”, reportedly wrote it. This comment cannot be verified because the post has been deleted.
