“On the basis of an EU Office statement in Pristina, we can conclude that the lynching under way against Ivan Todosijevic, who was sentenced to two years in prison just to tell the truth and dared to say that Recak was a false cause of illegal aggression, that the KLA organisation was terrorist and that what happened in Recak was not genocide or massacre”, Djuris said at a press conference, Tanjug writes.
Defence Minister Alexander Vulin today also urged the European Union to refrain from hasty and painful <x0-> statements concerning the Recak issue.
“As an organisation that is not competent to render legal judgments and historical conclusions, the EU would greatly help reconciliation and peace in the region if its organs and officials refrain from public making views that could be encouraging”.
Top Serbian officials in everydayity are making statements calling Recak's Massacre a lie and falsification.
For this, there have been numerous reactions from political leaders in Kosovo calling them Milosevic propagandists. The presidency of Albania has also reacted, saying that the “of Recak never becomes water”.
Ivan Todosijevic has been convicted of criminal work “inciting hatred, division or national, racial, religious or ethnic patience” while at the helm of the Ministry of Administration and Local Power in Haradinaj Government.
