Police in Wolfsburg, Germany, have announced that they have arrested 12 Albanian workers who were working illegally.
Also, according to local media at the moment customs vehicles were approaching, three Albanian workers have attempted to leave. Meanwhile, after the search, it was found that they had no residence permits and no work permits in Germany.
Initially, eight of them have shown false documents of the identity of Eastern European countries that are members of the EU.
Despite their attempt, however, authorities sent workers to the police for more accurate examination of documents and questioning.
Customs officers in this case have concluded that some of the workers have been unjustly receiving social assistance or have been effectively registered as persons with independent activities, albinfo.ch notes.
