At the Counting and Results Centre is already reaching sensitive electoral material from all municipalities in Kosovo, and by the end of the day all that material is expected to reach this centre.
So has Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi, who said that currently in the QNR, it is also becoming the scan of final voter lists at the polls.
“We are currently at the Counting and Results Centre is becoming the acceptance of sensitive electoral material from all of Kosovo's countries where the election process has been held. Many of the municipalities have already completed the delivery of this material, and others remain, and we are confident that today we will reach all sensitive election material. In addition to accepting this material, the scan of final voter lists from the polls is necessary before starting a later phase and counting on bail and those of persons with special needs”, Elesi said.
In the Counting and Results Centre, counting on conditional votes, persons with special needs and votes that have reached via mail are expected to begin within days.
“As long as the number of parole votes starts, of votes with special needs and votes through mail we depend on procedures and dynamics of jobs being conducted here at the Counting and Results Centre, but we hope that within a few days we will achieve all these jobs so that we can start counting these categories and votes outside the country”, the CEC spokesman said.
According to Valmir Elez currently, the CEC does not have the data of how many persons with special needs have taken advantage of the right to vote, or what is the number of conditional votes, but that according to him this data will become known after I complete the process of accepting sensitive electoral material from all voting municipalities in Kosovo.
Elez said 2785 people have been registered as persons with special needs, while the Central Election Commission has accepted 16 thousand alleged packages with ballot papers.
“As far as the conditional vote was cast during yesterday's double-vote day, we'll know after we accept all sensitive electoral material and we'll have statistics for each municipality separately. As for votes from persons with special needs that develop as a process outside polling stations where the CEC sends mobile teams to enable citizens who cannot go to the polls to vote also do not have the data of how much this opportunity has been taken, we have only data as to how many registered persons have sought this way of voting”, he said.
Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi voiced optimism that within today, the publication of the preliminary results of yesterday's elections, where only 97 per cent of the polling has been published on the website so far.
Until it says until the announcement of final results for the 6 October elections depends on the procedure and dynamics of the works at the QNR.
When the CEC announces the final results, we depend on procedures and dynamics of jobs that are being developed here at the Counting and Results Centre. We don't want to give any timelines because all this depends on these procedures and the jobs that are going on here. We are hoping that as soon as possible we can achieve to declare final results”, Elez said.
Currently, 97 per cent of the votes counted by the Vetevendosje Movement are leading by 200 thousand and 374 votes, or 25.60 per cent. The LDK is in second position with 194 thousand 778 votes, or 24.88 per cent, The PDK ranks third with 164 thousand 930 votes, or 21.07 per cent, the fourth AAK coalition- PSD by 90 thousand and 280 votes, or 11. 53 per cent, the Serbian List has received 52 thousand 529 votes, or 6.71 per cent, while other subjects have received over 10 per cent of the vote.
