Kosovo's imminent goals of being part of the largest international police co-operation organisation INTERPOL are likely to be dismissed even this year.
Although the INTERPOL General Assembly -- to be held in Chile by October 18th -- has announced that it will continue with intensive diplomatic activities at this Assembly, to prevent Kosovo's accession to the International Police Organisation this year, INTERPOL writes further the newspaper “Voice”.
While representatives of institutions say that Kosovo has met all conditions to become part of INTERPOL, security experts on the other hand call Kosovo's strategic error re-applicating to become part of this organisation.
This is because they estimate that the lobby for membership in this organisation was not a priority of the government “Haradinaj”, which could bring Kosovo's next failure towards this process.
