Serbia's so-called office director for Kosovo in Government Marko Djurovic has appealed to Serbs from Kosovo and all “those who feel Serbia as their state” to participate in the October 6th elections in Kosovo, despite pressure and stops from the Albanian side.
“Serbs face brutal discrimination, and the only way to defeat it is the masovic challenge. I call on all Serbs from Kosovo who are on voters' lists, regardless of what documentation they possess, to exploit their right”, Djuric declared it “RTS”
“They are trying to discriminate against us and we will be presenting to the international institutions”, he added.
Meanwhile, regarding this statement, CEC spokesman Valmir Elezin has reacted, who has reaffirmed that the CEC's decision to vote on 6 October is very clear.
The CEC decision is very clear: To vote on 6 October, the voter must have it with him, for identification, one of these four documents of the Republic of Kosovo: 1. Valid ID; 2. Valid password; 3. valid travel document, and 4. valid driving permit. This decision applies to every member of the polling council and to every Municipal Election Commission in all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo“, CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has said.
