400 to 5 thousand euros are fines for illegal logging of trees

Kosovars seem to be seeing the sale of wood as a good business, and of course when temperatures start to fall.

But those who illegally cut wood can be punished from 400 euros to 5,000 euros.

In the January-August 2019 period alone, according to data, the total damage to forest destruction is 14,701.97 m3 or expressed at monetary value is 472,574.21 euros.

Besim Zogu, Director of the Central Directorship for Forestry and Hunting, has said that forest conditions are not good for certain factors.
