Both of these Kosovo leaders, along with many other former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders, were on the list of people whom this organisation considered traitors and planned to liquidate.
It was March 2017, the first attempted assassination was committed. The first to be killed was Azem Vlasi, who was injured on the morning of March 13th of this year.
After this attempted murder, Murat Jashari and Avni Llumnica, as members of the organisation “People's Office, which took responsibility for the case.
The wave of subsequent arrests included other people, such as Bajrush Konjusha, Ragip Salova, Sadri Ramabaja, Rexhep Toplana, Sabit Berisha, Halim Halimi, Bexhet Luzha and Lije Luzha.
