Meta's request comes a day after Gent Cakaj's failure to comply with the post of foreign minister.
In his letter to Prime Minister Rama, explaining the reasons for his decision, Meta writes that from the candidacy verification process, Gent Cakaj resulted in working without a security certificate even during the period as deputy foreign minister, while the DSIK made possible its security certificate equipment within 24 hours.
Of this event, Meta has been addressed today with a letter, chief parliamentr Gramoz Ruci, as well as leaders of parliamentary groups seeking the establishment of the parliamentary investigative commission to investigate the work of the Classified Information Security Directorate.
“Only on the date 03.01.2019, the moment that coincides with publicising the prime minister's proposal for his appointment to the post of Minister for Europe for Foreign Affairs (as well as 3 days after signing the proposal for decree as MEPJ minister), he has completed the security certificate application near this ministry, even though the fulfillment of this obligation from the day of taking office as MPJ deputy minister is said to be the President's argument.
Given the return of institutions for Gent Cakaj, Meta writes that it turns out that the verification process, carried out in this case by (DSIK) as the National Security Authority in Albania, has been realised within 1 (one day).
