The chairman of the United Trade Union for Education, Science and Culture, Nundman Jasharaj in an interview for Telegrafi, has said the strike has no political background.
Responding to charges by the Parents' Council, Jasharaj said this union does not become anyone's protracted hand.
According to him, if this were to happen in the SBASK then there would be divisions.
The bad news is that a portion of parents and other individuals from institutions, on such charges, does not lead to a solution. We have no chance to play political games, because the SBASK is all over Kosovo, and we are aware of that. Members, some vote for LDK, PDK, AAK and Initiative. Even if someone wanted to make politics or become an extended hand, there would be divisions. We don't make politics, we do unionism”, Jasharaj declared for Telegrafi.
When the strike entered on the 10th day, the SBASK chairman blamed the Ministry of Education and Government.
Jasharaj even claimed that for the compensation of the hours, teachers place, not prime minister.
Neither prime minister nor minister should speak for hours lost, because they are known to be lost. We need to talk about finding a solution, because it doesn't know how many hours they'll be lost. When things are done, and the teachers understand that the government has reflected, we can talk. And for the lost hours, teachers decide. By orders no”, Jasharaj said.
The first of the United Trade Union for Education, Science and Culture said the cofficients for educators should be raised.
Jasharaj also stated how the opportunity has left the withdrawal of the Pagan Bill.
