Otherwise, what is known as the final phase of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia started on 24 June 2018 in Brussels, where Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Serbia's Aleksandar Vuciq had met with the EU Foreign Policy Representative Federica Moghrini. At the time, President Thaci had warned difficult talks with Serbia, but with the aim of reaching a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which would result in recognition of the state of Kosovo by Serbia.
Since then, several meetings have taken place, while Kosovo has also established the Negotiator Team, which has already held its first meeting in Brussels with Moghrin.
As for the chronology of the dialogue's performance so far, the letter of US President Donald Trump sent to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci is also noteworthy, where Kosovo is encouraged to continue dialogue in an effort to reach final agreement with Serbia.
: We are willing to help you in your efforts to reach an agreement that reflects in a balanced way the interests of Kosovo and Serbia. Such an agreement is within reach. I expect that at the White House I welcome you and President Alexander Vucic, to celebrate what is going to be a historic agreement”, it was written in the American president's letter. /Periscope.
