The dangerous “ ”, because of its dignified and dangerous “activity and resistance “, because it belonged to an autochtonic ethnicity on these lands whose soul had learned that love for the homeland is above all.

Those who know him well say he and Kosovo are One. One without another does not go because Kosovo gave him life and honour, while he Kosovo himself.

This is Ylber Durmish, son of Rakinica of Ademi Jashari's Drenica, who in his visionary vision preceded historical events, witnessed by which we are today.

In addition to studies in physics, Durmish has specialised in journalism and has completed third degree studies of security sciences. Today he lives happily with his wife and four children in the town of Mitrovica.

In an interview for KosovoPress, Durmish claims to be the first to have called for young Albanians to no longer serve in the former Yugoslav Army, but to be part of the Kosovo Army, which, according to him, had to be formed as soon as possible.

A video published a few days ago on his Facebook page confirms this, showing thousands of citizens participating in Fatmir Tafaj's funeral by Suhareka's Gricoci, who was killed in one of Sisak's barracks in Croatia.

The tragic death of even an Albanian soldier in the Yugoslav People's Army is a stone removed from the Albanian people's stronghold. No more Serbia's soldier or Yugoslavia. We want only from now on to serve in the Kosovo People's Army”, says Durmish.

According to Durmish, this has been the first time someone has publicly called for young Albanians to stop going to the Army of Yugoslavia or Serbia, but to serve in the Kosovo Army. He announced that from that day on, no Albanian has served in Yugoslavia's army.

In the meantime, Albanians killed soldiers everywhere. The Jevdet Aruchaj was killed in the Rhesal, then in Lausha and everywhere. At the time, Fatmir Tafaj was also killed in Grecoc, Prizren. At the time of events like this occasion, the small and large from Kosovo attended funerals... I was obliged to read the telegram, which said a dead soldier in the Yugoslavia Army, even a stone removed from the Albanian fortress. There I shout, calling, no soldier for Yugoslavia or Serbia. Today we will establish the army of the Republic of Kosovo ...it's been the first time someone has made such a call, I'm sure. I have then thought that after my request, we immediately founded the army, captured the weapons and succeeded the homeland... that day no Albanian has ever gone into the Yugoslav Army, some fled... I'm proud to have the dream almost 30 years later about what I've once called for, the work to be accomplished and the army.

He continues his confession by saying that as a student of the Prizren High Pedagogical School of Physical-Profession in Prizren, he comes into contact with the already late professor and event, Xhemajli Berisha, but also with some other friends with whom he continues patriotic activities, organising demonstrations in Kosovo's cities, in a sign of solidarity with the miners' strike.

It was the miners' strike with which we were solidified. The night before I started the action, I and a fellow from Gjakova, Cameron Berisha, decided tomorrow that we would not allow a class to be taught at all. So we decided to organize protests and demonstrations. ...I remember very well when one of the professors came to talk to us, trying to convince us that Kosovo does not lose anything with changing the constitution. It's where I drove out the professor, it's very well seen in the recordings because there were cameras, and I didn't want to communicate... as far as demonstrations were concerned, I want to mention just one case that I remember when I organized demonstrations in Prizren, Drenas, Skenderaj and Mitrovica in one day. I turned them on, I started”, Durmish stressed.

It tells of the arrests and tortures that were made to him because of the organisation of demonstrations, the formation of the Ilegality organization, his active participation in reconciliation of the things together with Anton Ceta, but also because of the practice of journalism during that time.

I've been tied up for the radiators. They were a Montenegrin a Serb and an Albanian, never forgotten. They have begun to persecute me because of my participation in all the demonstrations, for my leadership with students about the miners strike, the demands I wrote, and so they have tortured me until morning... An Albanian policeman kept my gun pointed at me all the time. Today I'd love to meet this man who told me to keep going, that they don't have anything to do with... I asked him if you took off the gun you pointed at me, he didn't dare, but I had the bad luck of being the guardian tonight... They took me into solitary confinement, which means I just... I was 18-19 years old, I don't know, they told me I was in Albania and I swore to Enver Hoxha's grave, I told you where I could go, I never came back, because I had a dream of ever stepping in Albania”, explained Durmish.

He relates an interesting event when he and his brother, some friends and two Albanian officers, had planned to take control of the military barracks in Prizren full of Yugoslav soldiers.

“was Dzevat Zeqiri from Glodjani, Xaviti my brother, as well as some others, and we planned since the Prizren barracks took over... We saw we had no capacity. We didn't have people. We've distributed various material, but we wanted it all at once. However, Avniu and Lulzim, the two Albanian officers in Prizren's barracks -- the second patriots -- who greet them wherever they are -- were willing to organise to take over the barracks. We didn't even know the consequences of what will happen to us“, has been said of Kosovas Durmish.
