All of this, she experienced in her family but who did not stop even after marriage with her husband's family. In addition to her husband, this persistent victim of violence is also subject to mother - in - law. Beatings and torture began as early as 2010, shortly after he got married. So she was forced to leave her husband's house and go to her shelter. But when she realized that she was pregnant, she became convinced of her husband's return.
But the violence against this victim, which is confessed to KTV, didn't forget the husband even after his return from the shelter. The victim of his violence also became children who remained alive with their father after Mother left home again.
This victim is just one of 1,500 domestic violence cases. According to Kosovo police statistics, the number of victims of violence this year we are leaving reportedly has marked increases. And 400 people have been arrested.
But victims who suffered domestic violence and reported the cases did not find police assistance every time.
Valbona Marki Nocaj had denounced her former husband Peter Noecaj to the police for 16 years having endured the torture that had been inflicted on her. But the police had not protected him. After admitting guilt, the Constitutional Court in Noecan Gjakova sentenced him to 24 years in prison for double murder.

Eight cases of domestic violence have ended with murder this year.
