At a news conference, Thaci called the meeting today productive and meaningful.
“Today we held a very productive and extremely significant meeting, with substance in the future engagement between Kosovo and the representatives of Medvedja, Presevo and Bujanovac. It is clear that the stated will of Albanians there is for association with Kosovo. As president, I have strongly supported this idea and continue to support it, until its fulfillment. We will make maximum efforts to close this issue with the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia”, Thaci has said.
In turn, the country's first said it hopes that all in Kosovo, without party differences, support Presevo's right to co-ordination.
It's time for everyone to get up on their own egos. Currently Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac are the common cause. We will try to make even leaders participate in dialogue with Serbia, to be transparent in this decision-making process. Government, Parliament, and All will support him. We're going to be close to citizens with the possibilities we have as a state, within that I welcome the common idea of how to help through various funds.
