Directors of the Oil Association in Kosovo are opposing the road tax on the road to the nation recently applied by Albania's authorities.
Oilmen are not anti-tax, but require a reasonable price.
Oil Association Chairman Fadil Behrani has said that the road tax on the nation's path imposed by Albania's authorities is unacceptable to oilers.
We oil companies are for payment, tax, but the price is reasonable. Oilmen are known to make good use of the nation's route because the supply of derivatives is made by Albania. There's companies that in one day I pay taxes up to 300 euros, and that's not acceptable and very high tax. This is an additional cost for importing derivatives where this cost is added to transport, and it is perfectly normal that increases the price of derivatives”, Behrani said.
He thinks Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama had to consider Kosovars like Kukes' citizens, with a similar tax or price.
